A rock song that was formerly written for a band of mine when I was in Osnabrück. I had it lying around after the band split and recently worked on the riffs again to turn it into stoner rock, kind of. I am not a wizard in drum loops, but this ain't too bad and even if you can't really hear it, I love how the bass sounds.
Concerning the text, it's of course plain women troubles. Actually the last verse is even older after someone called Anna had left the building. I often recycle things, obviously.
lyrics
Sticking with the second best is wrong medication
cause every lie in love breaks bricks from that timeless mansion
I hate to hear about affairs all day and night they say
Jasmin had that spin for the trapped situation
and it sounds too bad that Sarah used to say that I'd need some patience
but when I'm dead I hope they say "Those cycles seldom made him blue."
Still by every lie
you're just a lonely spot in the world
Say right where you are
protect your only spot in the world
This city is a run, this city is a fun
and the rearview mirror shows a frozen desert son
I reached out and I felt that we don't wear no crown at all
I've seen this guy develop into a very productive web-songwriter during the last two years, after I had noticed him on Soundcloud. A great example of creative flow, really got into liking the voices. Nic Honey
